Description
Fluffy and naturally sweet banana porridge pancakes made with oats, ripe bananas, and cinnamon. A quick, healthy breakfast your whole family will love.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Mash bananas in a bowl. Add oats, milk, egg, cinnamon, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease lightly. Pour batter in small circles.
3. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form. Flip and cook another 2 minutes until golden.
4. Serve warm with fresh strawberries, syrup, or butter on an antique butter board.
Notes
You can blend the oats first for smoother pancakes.
Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
