Preparation
- Peel (optional) and cut apples into fry-like sticks about 1/2-inch thick. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Coating
- Set up three coating stations: Bowl 1 with flour, Bowl 2 with whisked egg and milk, Bowl 3 with panko breadcrumbs mixed with sugar and cinnamon.
- Dredge each apple stick in flour, tap off excess, dip into the egg mixture, then coat well with the breadcrumb mixture. Press crumbs onto the apple gently.
Air Frying
- Lightly spray coated apple fries with nonstick spray. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer and do not overcrowd.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until golden and crispy.
Serving
- Enjoy warm with caramel dip, yogurt, or whipped cream.

Best served warm, can be paired with Dutch-style toppings like caramel sauce, yogurt, or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
