Preparation
- Peel (optional) and cut apples into fry-like sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Set up coating stations: add flour to one bowl, whisk egg and milk together in another, and mix panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in the last bowl.
Cooking
- Dredge each apple stick in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat well with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray coated apple fries with nonstick spray and place in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Serving
- Enjoy warm with caramel dip, yogurt, or whipped cream.
Notes
For storage, keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back into the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
