Preparation
- Slice the pickles into rounds.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of cornmeal, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each pickle slice in the flour, then the egg, and finally the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the breaded pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3 to 5 minutes. Do not store pickles long-term after breading as they do not freeze well.
