Ingredients
  

Dough Base
  • 1 ball pizza dough store-bought or homemade
Cheese Filling
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese sliced or small cubes
Meat Filling
  • 1 cup pepperoni or your choice of filling
Cooking Spray and Seasonings
  • to taste olive oil spray
  • to taste seasonings (like Italian herbs or garlic powder)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small squares, approximately 2.5 to 3 inches wide.
  3. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese and a piece of pepperoni on each square.
  4. Fold the dough over to make a pocket and pinch the edges to seal.
Cooking
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange the pizza rolls in a single layer.
  2. Spray the tops with a little olive oil and season with Italian herbs or garlic powder.
  3. Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve these warm with a small bowl of marinara or ranch for dipping. To store, keep cooled rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and reheat in the air fryer. You can also freeze both cooked and uncooked rolls for later use.
