Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with cinnamon and a bit of granulated sugar. Spread them into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
Baking
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples evenly.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through. This dish can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
