Ingredients
  

For the experiment
  • 1 cup Baking Soda This is the secret ingredient for the fizz.
  • 1 cup Vinegar White vinegar or apple cider vinegar works beautifully!
  • Optional as desired Food Coloring Adds a fun twist.
  • 1 deep dish A Deep Dish or Tray To contain the overflow.
  • 1 spoon Spoon or Cup For measuring and pouring.

Method
 

Setup
  1. Place the deep dish on a table covered with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth to catch any spills.
Mix Ingredients
  1. Spoon a generous amount of baking soda into the dish.
  2. Drizzle some food coloring over the baking soda for a vibrant explosion.
  3. Pour the vinegar on top and stand back!
Enjoy the Reaction
  1. Marvel at the bubbling reaction, and let the kids enjoy the fizz!

Notes

Use gloves if you're concerned about mess. Keep towels handy for quick cleanup. Experiment with ratios for different fizzing effects! This is a one-time-use project; store leftover ingredients securely.
