  • 1 cup Vinegar Any type of vinegar can be used.
  • few drops Food coloring (optional) DIY colorful eruptions.

  • 1 small container A small container or bottle To hold the baking soda and vinegar.
  • 1 tray Tray or baking sheet To catch overflow.
  • 1 pair Safety goggles Always wear these for safety.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place your small container on a tray or baking sheet to catch any fizzy overflow.
  2. Add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda to the container.
  3. If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring.
  4. Pour the vinegar into the container with the baking soda and step back to watch the fizzing reaction!
Serving
  1. Gather everyone around to enjoy the fizz. Consider having a mini competition to see who can create the biggest eruption!

Notes

Make it fresh on the spot for the best results. Prep the area ahead of time to keep things tidy. Always protect eyes with safety goggles, especially with younger kids involved. Experiment with ratios for varying reactions!
