Ingredients

Crust Ingredients
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs Can substitute with crushed vanilla wafers.
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
Cheesecake Filling Ingredients
  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened Each package is 8 ounces.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples, peeled and cored Use any variety of apples you prefer.
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a nice, even crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until completely smooth. Add in the vanilla and mix in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring everything is blended well.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples and ground cinnamon, creating a lovely filling. Pour this delightful cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture, letting it swirl in or stay chunky—whatever you prefer.
Baking
  1. Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set; just a slight jiggle is okay!
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the bars cool for a bit, then refrigerate them for at least two hours before cutting into bars.
  2. Serve chilled and enjoy the flavors!
