  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese You can swap for pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist.
  • 1 cup beef broth Add a splash when reheating leftovers.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Customize the spice level as desired.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to personal preference.

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chili beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, garlic powder, and macaroni to the pot. Stir well to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes or until the macaroni is cooked to your liking.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to add sliced jalapeƱos, sour cream, or fresh cilantro for added flavor. Pairs well with a green salad or cornbread.
