  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts Can substitute with boneless thighs.
  • 12 ounces Egg noodles Can be swapped with gluten-free noodles.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Add more as needed for tossing noodles.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh or jarred garlic works.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about one minute.
  4. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
  5. Cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  6. Remove chicken and let it rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
  7. Toss the cooked noodles in the buttery sauce, adding more butter if needed, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve the sliced chicken on top of the buttery noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or a skillet with a splash of broth or water. Portions can be frozen for up to three months.
