Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 170 ml unsweetened and unflavoured plant milk (soy or oat milk) You can also use almond or cashew milk.
  • 300 g dark chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate (around 60% cocoa solids) Choose your favorite type of dark chocolate.
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder or vegan chocolate sprinkles For coating the truffles.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the plant milk in a heat-proof measuring jug and microwave in 20-second bursts until hot and steaming, but not boiling.
  2. Place the chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and pour the hot plant milk over. Cover with a lid or plate and leave for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the lid and whisk until smooth, microwaving more if needed to fully melt the chocolate.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a container, cover it, and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  5. Once chilled, roll portions of the mixture into balls, then coat them in cocoa powder or sprinkles.
  6. Return the truffles to the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture. These truffles are gluten-free and perfect for various dietary needs.
