Preparation
- Place the plant milk in a heat-proof measuring jug and microwave in 20-second bursts until hot and steaming, but not boiling.
- Place the chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and pour the hot plant milk over. Cover with a lid or plate and leave for 5 minutes.
- Remove the lid and whisk until smooth, microwaving more if needed to fully melt the chocolate.
- Transfer the mixture to a container, cover it, and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Once chilled, roll portions of the mixture into balls, then coat them in cocoa powder or sprinkles.
- Return the truffles to the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
For added flavor, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture. These truffles are gluten-free and perfect for various dietary needs.
