Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 5 cups raw broccoli florets chopped small
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely diced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheese, red onion, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and bacon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli salad mixture. Toss until everything is coated evenly.
  4. Cover and chill the broccoli salad for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors come together.

Notes

This salad can be made ahead of time and stores well in the fridge for up to three days. For best texture, add crunchy toppings like seeds or nuts just before serving.
