  • 6 large eggs Whisked together with milk.
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns Layer at the bottom of the casserole dish.
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute for low-fat option.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish Adds a fresh touch when serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the bacon until it's crispy, then crumble it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Lightly grease a casserole dish and layer the frozen hash browns evenly at the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients, making sure it covers everything evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is beautifully golden.
  8. Let the casserole cool slightly, garnish with green onions if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave for about 2-3 minutes or warm in the oven at 350°F until heated through. Casserole can also be frozen for up to a month.
