  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For a lighter version, use reduced-fat mayonnaise.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Flavor Enhancers
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Seasonings
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of olive oil, and 1/4 cup of sour cream to a medium mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour in 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for a tangy balance.
  3. Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 2 teaspoons of dried basil, and 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Whisk everything together until the dressing is creamy and well blended.
  5. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasonings if needed, then transfer it into a mason jar or an airtight container.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake well before each use due to natural separation.
