Ingredients
  

Meat Sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or Italian sausage.
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce Any variety of pasta sauce works.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Layering Ingredients
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For best flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is preferable.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Layering and Cooking
  1. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  3. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  4. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  6. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pair with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
