Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- If using, add the frozen mixed vegetables on top.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, take the chicken out, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and drop them into the crockpot.
- Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the biscuits are cooked through.
- Serve warm and enjoy the smiles at your table.
Notes
Best served with hot sauce for a spicy kick and can be paired with a side salad or cornbread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
