  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional) Feel free to swap in your favorite veggie blend or use leftover rotisserie chicken for even faster prep.

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. If using, add the frozen mixed vegetables on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  2. About 30 minutes before serving, take the chicken out, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  3. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and drop them into the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the biscuits are cooked through.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy the smiles at your table.

Notes

Best served with hot sauce for a spicy kick and can be paired with a side salad or cornbread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
