- Pour the granulated sugar into an even layer in your shallow dish or tray.
- In a separate bowl, mix the vinegar with a few drops of food coloring until you achieve your desired hue.
- Carefully drizzle the colored vinegar over the sugar.
- For an extra pop, sprinkle a little baking soda on top of the mixture.
- Stand back and enjoy as the sugar and vinegar react to create a fun fizzing and bubbling display!
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh as the reaction will not last over time. Store any leftovers covered in a cool, dry place until ready for reuse. Use baking paper underneath to avoid mess.
