- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In small bowls, take a cup of granulated sugar and add a few drops of food coloring. Use a spoon to mix thoroughly until the sugar is uniformly colored.
- Spread the colored sugar across the prepared baking sheets in a thin layer.
- Bake for about 10 minutes to set the colors, keeping an eye on them to prevent burning.
- Once done, let them cool completely before using or storing.
Notes
Store leftover sugars in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. They should last several months.
