Ingredients
  

Art Supplies
  • 1 cup Coarse salt Coarse salt provides better texture for painting.
  • 1 sheet Cardstock or thick paper This will be the base for your artwork.
  • 1 set Liquid watercolors or food coloring Both liquid watercolors and food coloring work well.
  • small amount Small bowls or cups for colors For mixing colors.
  • 1 bottle Liquid glue To create designs on the paper.
  • 2-3 pieces Squeeze bottles or droppers For dispensing the glue and colors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay out newspapers or a plastic tablecloth for easy cleanup.
  2. Using the squeeze bottles, make fun shapes or lines with glue on the cardstock.
  3. While the glue is still wet, cover it with coarse salt, ensuring the glue is fully coated.
  4. Gently shake off any excess salt back into your bowl.
  5. Use droppers or small brushes to drop colored water over the salt and watch the colors spread.
  6. Let your masterpiece dry completely before displaying it.

Notes

Once dry, these paintings can be framed or hung on the refrigerator. Store any unused materials separately and ensure liquid watercolors are sealed tightly for later use. Safety: Supervise children while using tools and materials.
