- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until soft.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Place cheese on top of the beef and cover the skillet to melt.
- Toast the hoagie rolls.
- Fill the rolls with the beef and onion mixture, and serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add Worcestershire sauce during cooking. Always cover the skillet to help the cheese melt thoroughly. Serve warm with a side of fries or salad.
