  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh from local waters
  • 1 pound scallops, sea Should be sourced sustainably
  • 1 pound grouper fillets Locally sourced
  • 4 pieces crab cakes Prepare fresh or from local quality supplier
Spices and Sauces
  • 2 tablespoons butter For sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by cleaning and preparing all seafood. Peel and devein the shrimp, and pat the scallops dry.
  2. Season the shrimp and scallops with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add scallops to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are golden brown.
  3. In a separate pan, cook the grouper fillets until flaky and fully cooked, approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Heat crab cakes in the oven or on a skillet until golden.
Serving
  1. Plate the shrimp, scallops, grouper, and crab cakes together for a beautiful presentation.
  2. Drizzle lemon juice over the seafood before serving.

Notes

Best served with a side of seasonal vegetables or a fresh salad. Pair with a nice white wine for an elevated dining experience.
