Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with a gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray
Coating Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons sugar For coating
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For coating

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour all at once and stir until mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Shape dough into small bite-sized balls.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the balls in a single layer.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  6. Roll the churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture immediately after removing them from the air fryer.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd your air fryer basket to achieve crispy bites. Serve with chocolate sauce or ice cream for an additional treat!
