Making the Lemon Pepper Seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (90°C).
- Spread the lemon zest on a baking sheet and bake it for 20-30 minutes or until fully dried.
- Remove the dried zest from the oven and let it cool.
- In a spice blender or mortar and pestle, combine the dried lemon zest, ground black pepper, and fine sea salt.
- Grind the mixture to combine well.
- Store the lemon pepper seasoning in an airtight container.
