One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne) Feel free to use gluten-free pasta.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk Heavy cream can be used for a richer sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta and milk to the pot, and bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, stirring occasionally, until al dente and the sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For an added flavor kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the garlic. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
