  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the wings on the grill or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are cooked through and glazed.
  3. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge, or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through to maintain crispiness.
