Preparation
- Spread the cheese evenly across the pan and allow it to melt and slightly crisp.
- While the cheese is melting, crack and whisk the eggs until smooth.
- Pour the whisked eggs over the melted cheese, cover with a lid, and cook until the bottom is firm and golden.
- Carefully flip the egg-cheese base using a spatula.
- Spread the passata on top, add salami slices and the remaining cheese, then cover again until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, sprinkle with mixed herbs, and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Best served with a side of fresh fruit or salad. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator or frozen for longer storage. Texture may change once thawed.
