Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Mix the brown sugar cookie mix with melted butter and the egg until well combined. Spread about half of this cookie dough into the bottom of your prepared pan.
- Layer Oreo cookies in a single row on top of the cookie dough.
- In another bowl, make the brownie mix according to the package instructions, adding water as needed. Pour the brownie batter over the Oreos.
- Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the brownie batter.
- Optionally, scatter chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to four days, or refrigerate to extend life; freeze for up to three months.
