Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 Fresh strawberries, preferably large and ripe Look for strawberries that are deep red and shiny.
  • 4 Sturdy wooden skewers or lollipop sticks Use plastic skewers if making with little ones for safety.
  • 1 piece Green tissue paper or leaves for decoration Crumple around the base to create a 'grass' effect.
  • 1 A pot or a vase for display Use foam or floral blocks for stability.
  • to taste Optional: melted chocolate, sprinkles, or other edible decorations Feel free to customize with various decorations.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries gently and let them dry completely.
  2. Take a wooden skewer or stick and carefully insert it into the base of each strawberry, leaving enough stick exposed for handling.
  3. Arrange the skewered strawberries in a ceramic pot or vase, sticking them into green foam or floral blocks for stability.
  4. Crumple green tissue paper around the base to create a 'grass' effect, hiding any foam. If using melted chocolate, dip the strawberries into it and let them set before skewering.
  5. Add ribbons or any favorite edible decorations for a personal touch.

Notes

If strawberries are very ripe, consider adding them just before serving to maintain freshness. These bouquets look stunning and taste delicious as a sweet snack or dessert paired with whipped cream or ice cream.
