  • Food coloring Choose any colors you prefer.
  • Baking soda (optional) Sprinkle over the sugar for an extra reaction.
  • A shallow dish or tray Use to maximize the reaction surface area.

Preparation
  1. Pour granulated sugar evenly into the bottom of a shallow dish.
  2. In a separate container, mix the vinegar with your chosen food coloring.
  3. (Optional) Sprinkle some baking soda over the sugar before pouring in the colored vinegar.
  4. Slowly pour the colored vinegar over the sugar and watch the reaction unfold.
  5. Gather around and enjoy the fireworks!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. If any ingredients are left, store them separately in airtight containers. Consider using themed food coloring for festive occasions.
