Ingredients

Fresh fruit
  • 2 cups Fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes, apple slices, etc.) Any fruit you like can be used.
For the syrup
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the fruit and pat dry.
  2. In a saucepan, mix sugar and water, and heat until the sugar dissolves to create a syrup.
  3. Insert skewers into the fruit.
  4. Dip the skewered fruit into the syrup, ensuring they're coated evenly.
  5. Allow to cool on a parchment-lined tray until the coating hardens.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature. Avoid refrigerating as moisture can make the coating sticky. Dip fruit multiple times for a thicker coating.
