Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafers and granulated sugar.
- Add the melted butter and mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before filling.
Notes
Make sure to press the mixture really well into the pan to create a sturdy crust. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days, or freeze for up to a month.
