Preparation
- Start by placing the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, and melted butter, then pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Once the chicken is ready, shred it directly in the pot using two forks, mixing it back into the sauce.
- Gently stir in the biscuit pieces, making sure they’re coated in the creamy mixture.
- Cover again and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are fluffy and cooked through.
Serving
- Serve warm and enjoy the hearty goodness!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. It also freezes well for about 2 to 3 months. For an even creamier sauce, add a splash of cream or milk before serving. Substitute chicken breasts with thighs or rotisserie chicken as desired. Use low-sodium soup and broth for a healthier option.
